The Tulane Department of Surgery has a long tradition of excellence in surgical education and training. Tulane surgical alumni are consistently amongst the most respected members of the medical community where they choose to practice.
Tulane surgical alumni are leaders and mentors who exemplify the traditions of Tulane surgery. They have a commitment to continuously seeking to improve patient care and the practice of surgery.
Tulane surgery alumni develop a bond that extends beyond their years in training and lasts a lifetime.
The Tulane Surgical Society offers resources to surgery alumni, as well as the Department of Surgery and the current surgical residents. Involvement in the Surgical Society is an excellent way to assist young surgeons-in-training, enabling them to take advantage of the opportunities and the traditions of a Tulane surgical education.
