Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans serves Orleans, St. Bernard,
Plaquemines, Jefferson, St. Charles, St. John the Baptists, St. Tammany and
Washington parishes.
Catholic Charities of Houma/Thibodaux diocese is also coordinating assistance from
local food banks, disaster centers and other charitable agencies. If you’ve been put out
of work by the spill and need help, you can call Catholic Charities at 985-876-0490.
Additionally, Catholic Charities of Houma/Thibodaux is working with Terrebonne Parish
to help keep impacted families in their homes. If you need help with rent payments or
fear you may be evicted from your home in Terrebonne Parish, call the Terrebonne
Parish government at 985-873-6790.

Adult Behavioral Health Services provides comprehensive and coordinated outpatient services to eligible individuals with serious mental illness and/or an addictive disorder (alcohol, drugs, gambling).
In an effort to support recovery, the Adult Services physicians, nurses, and other clinicians provide treatment, education and support:
• Psychiatric evaluation
• Psychiatric medication management
• Individual and group therapy
• Intensive outpatient treatment for substance abuse
• Outpatient treatment for compulsive gambling
• Crisis intervention
• Referral to inpatient programs
• Referral for detoxification
• Drug screens
• Support groups

Services offered:
Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health Services serves infants, children, and adolescents with mental health, substance abuse, and prevention needs. The chosen approach for treatment is to care for the whole person within the context of family, school, and community.
Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health Services staff delivers comprehensive and coordinated services to bring about positive change in the lives of those served. Collaboration with the Juvenile Justice System, Office of Family Services, Jefferson Parish Public School System, the Truancy Assessment and Service Center as well as with other agencies.

• Intensive family intervention and services
• Early intervention (birth through age 5) for high-risk children
