Mouse Phenotyping Core: Single-Mouse Metabolic Cages Study

Service for metabolic balance and urine collection studies will be provided. Two Hatteras racks with 30 metabolic cages are currently available. This system is used to record 24 hour water and food intakes, and urine excretion in mice, combined with analysis of urine analysis in Molecular Biology and Analytical Core; it has been widely used by THRCE investigators.  

Monitor Parameters:

1. Water intake
2. Food intake
3. Urine output, collection
4. Feces collection
