Dr. Wendell M.R. Heard received his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in 2005. After completing his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, an Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery fellowship at Brown University, and a Sports Medicine fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, he returned to New Orleans to become Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedics at Tulane. He practices at the Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine in uptown New Orleans.
