Dr. Mark Hontas received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1979. He also completed his residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in 1984, where he then completed a fellowship in sports medicine. Dr. Hontas is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tulane University. He specializes in sports medicine and practices at the Bone and Joint Clinic on the Northshore.
