Tulane Orthopaedics Announces New Residents

Tulane Orthopaedics is proud to announce its newest residents for 2012.
Murphy “Trey” Martin, III hails from St. Martinville, LA. He graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University with a BS in Biological Sciences, where he was accepted into the Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Honor Society. He will complete his medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Trey has served as a volunteer with the Cancer Services of Baton Rouge, AAOS, Jungle Medic Missions, Camp Tiger, and Limpopo Eco Operations, among other groups. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
Lane Rush comes to us from Meridian, MS. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a BS in Biology, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He will earn his medical degree from the University Of Mississippi School Of Medicine. Lane’s volunteer work includes the Humanitarian Health Partnership, the Jackson Free Clinic, Tar Wars Smoking Prevention Program, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Mississippi. He is a member of the Mississippi State Medical Association, the American Medical Student Association, and the American Medical Association.
