Our Faculty has experts to care for all kinds of orthopaedic problems. Our doctors care for patients of any age. We care for patients that sustain injuries to the musculoskeletal system. We care for patients with painful conditions from arthritis. We care for patients with sport injuries using the latest technologies. We care for patients with spine ailments caused by curvature of the spine in children and also adults with neck and back pain caused by disc herniation and nerve compression by spinal stenosis. We care for patients with foot problems such as flat feet, bone spurs, arthritic deformities of the foot, among others. We have experts on total joint replacement of the upper and lower extremities. We can replace shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, ankles. We can correct hand problems and even replace finger joints. Relating to all these conditions, we have experts in rehabilitation.

Patients are seen at Tulane Medical Center, the Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine, and Tulane-Lakeside Hospital. We also have an office in Covington, LA and satellite locations in Slidell, LA and Gulfport, MS. Our doctors care for patients at University Hospital and the V.A. Clinics.

Our educational mission is to teach our residents, fellows, and medical students in all aspects of the musculoskeletal system. We have a fully accredited 5 year Orthopaedic Residency. We teach our Tulane University Medical Students and sports medicine fellows. Our doctors teach other doctors all over the world. We make presentations of our orthopaedic experience at regional, national, and international orthopaedic meetings.

As part of our mission, we conduct clinical and basic research to advance the knowledge of the musculoskeletal system. Our results are published in a wide range of medical journals.
