Ophthalmology

Oscar Batlle, MD
Dr. Batlle, a native of the Dominican Republic, completed his medical school training and residency at Tulane University School of Medicine. He is currently working on the first year of a two-year retina fellowship under the preceptorship of Dr. James Diamond at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System.

Jayson Edwards, MD
Dr. Edwards is a cornea fellow who graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Microbiology and minors in chemistry and Spanish. He earned his MD from the University of Maryland, School of Medicine in Baltimore and completed a three-year residency in ophthalmology at the University of Florida, Jacksonville.

Mathew George, MD
Dr. George is our Glaucoma fellow and came to Tulane after completing his medical retina fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He earned a two-year post graduate diploma in Ophthalmology from the Christian Medical College, Vellore, India and graduated from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, India with an MBBS.

Dip Jadav, MD
Dr. Jadav is also a cornea fellow coming to Tulane after completing his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas in San Antonio. Dip attended Texas A&M University in an accelerated program allowing him to enter medical school, also at Texas A&M, after two years of undergraduate study.
