Reproductive Infectious Disease is a subspecialty of Obstetrics & Gynecology that deals mainly with infections of women. These may be infections of the reproductive tract, infections during pregnancy, or any other infections that affect the life and well-being of women. The reproductive infectious disease specialist is also skilled in the evaluation and management of non-infectious disorders of the vulva.

Tulane OB-GYN strives to provide the latest evidence-based treatments to women suffering from infectious diseases or related complications. In addition to providing care to women with HIV in pregnancy and beyond, Tulane OB-GYN offers treatment for complicated or unusual post-operative infections, pelvic infections, and sexually transmitted infections. We offer expertise in the management of infections of all kinds during pregnancy.

Tulane has specialized knowledge of vulvar diseases and/or care for women with recurrent or resistant vulvar or vaginal infections. Our services also include treatment of vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN), lichen sclerosis, lichen planus, vulvodynia, and other vulvar disorders.

Tulane OB-GYN welcomes new reproductive infectious disease patients by either self- or physician referral at two office locations:
