Fellowship Director's Message
Laurianne G. Wild, M.D.
Director, Allergy and Clinical Immunology Fellowship Program
I joined the Tulane Team many years ago and am honored to now direct the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Fellowship Training Program. Finishing my fellowship training in 1996, I joined the Faculty in the Section of Clinical Immunology, Allergy and Rheumatology and was appointed Director of the Fellowship Training Program in 1999.
I wanted to stay a part of the Tulane Team and continue to provide a training program with a high quality educational experience in the clinical and research arenas, providing care to a very diverse patient population, in a setting where team work is highly regarded. We have a great group of fellows each year with diverse backgrounds and interests, but what we all have in common is the dedication to caring for our patients with allergic and immunologic diseases, not only treating their disease processes but creating partnerships and improving their day-to-day quality of life.
Education is the key to quality care; we learn from our patients and each other in a variety of weekly conferences, annual conferences (AAAAI meeting and Pollen Course), outdoor educational activities.
