Research Programs


The Section of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics has a solid research foundation and is embracing growth and expansion of our research initiatives and programs.  The Section faculty receive funding from several agencies such as the Health Resources and Services Administration, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Louisiana Public Health Institute, and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
