Dr. Dominique Anwar is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Geriatrics at the Tulane University School of Medicine and currently practices at the Internal Medicine Practice at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic.
Board-certified for Internal Medicine in Switzerland, Dr. Anwar practiced for 8 years in HIV out-patients clinics, four years at the University Hospital of Lausanne and Geneva and four years at the ID Ponce de Leon Clinic, Atlanta, GA. She was the Medical Director of the Palliative Care Unit of the Ensemble Hospitalier de la Cote, a 14 bed unit and a palliative care mobile unit prior to coming to New Orleans. Dr. Anwar has special interest in symptoms management, ethics, education, and clinical research in palliative care.
