ANATOMY ELECTIVES

ADVANCED GROSS ANATOMY

• Course Overview

Individual projects of dissection by advanced medical and graduate students. Enrollment may be limited by the availability of cadavers. No final examination.

• Enrollment: 1-8 students; T-1, T-2; Session 3 and Session 4 (2 class hrs per week)
• Grading Policy: Pass/Fail
• Course Time: 4 hrs. per session for 2 sessions. Time to be individually arranged.
• Prerequisite: Freshman Gross Anatomy and permission of instructor.

TEACHING MEDICAL GROSS ANATOMY

• Course Overview

Students will serve as a teaching assistants in gross anatomy. Each student will assist a faculty member in the laboratory.

• Enrollment: Elective is open to T1s only. Offered Sessions 1 and 2.
• Grading Policy: Pass/Fail
• Course Time: Schedule will follow fall gross anatomy schedule for T1s.
• Prerequisite: Completion of Tulane's Gross Anatomy course.

TEACHING MEDICAL HISTOLOGY

• Course Overview

Students will serve as a teaching assistants in medical histology. Each student will assist a faculty member in the laboratory.

• Enrollment: Elective is open to T1s only. Offered Sessions 1 and 2.
• Grading Policy: Pass/Fail
• Course Time: Schedule will follow fall histology schedule for T1s.
• Prerequisite: Completion of Tulane's medical histology course with a high pass.
