INTERNAL MEDICINE ELECTIVES -Primary Care Elective

This elective is for students with an interest in learning more about how to diagnose and treat patients with hematologic and oncologic disease.  Students will see patients at the at the Tulane Cancer Center and MCLNO.  Students will work directly with faculty and fellows. The student will have a great opportunity to participate and be exposed to the multidisciplinary aspect of Hematology/Oncology as a subspecialty. 

Maximum number of students: 1 
Timeframe:  2 or 4 weeks
Prerequisite:  Completion of the IM clerkship and Ambulatory/Subspecialty Clinics Rotation with passing grades in both.

  1. June 4th – June 29th
  2. July 30th – August 24th
  3. September 24th – October 19th
  4. February 4th – March 1st
