OUR HISTORY

The New Orleans Children’s Health Project (NOCHP) began to assist the urgent healthcare needs of the communities following the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

As a partnership between the Children’s Health Fund and Tulane School of Medicine, NOCHP is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare to all children ages 0-18.

NOCHP is one of three projects in the Gulf Coast area formed to respond to the mental health, public health and clinical care needs of this region in a joint effort named Operation Assist.
