The mission of the New Orleans Children’s Health Project (NOCHP) is to address the physical, emotional, and social well being of children in underserved communities.
Our project encompasses the following goals:
We believe that every child deserves access to quality healthcare and through integrated healthcare delivery systems and innovative ideas we will strive to achieve our mission.
The New Orleans Children’s Health Project (NOCHP) began to assist the urgent healthcare needs of the communities following the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
As a partnership between the Children’s Health Fund and Tulane School of Medicine, NOCHP is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare to all children ages 0-18.
NOCHP is one of three projects in the Gulf Coast area formed to respond to the mental health, public health and clinical care needs of this region in a joint effort named Operation Assist.
