Overview

The Cancer Crusaders Next Generation Sequence Analysis Core is sponsored by an NIH COBRE grant (Mentoring a Program in Cancer Genetics, Program Director: Prescott Deininger, Ph.D.) and the Cancer Crusaders, an all-volunteer organization that has raised funds for cancer research in the New Orleans area since the mid-1970s. The core currently provides standard analysis of genome and transcriptome data. The core will be working on a continuous basis to update existing processing methods as well as exploring the implementation of new algorithms and pipelines.
