Personnel And Honors Packet Contents


  1. For appointments at the Assistant Professor level and above including part-time faculty (Clinical Assistant Professor,etc) and for any promotions, an original and an electronic copy of the following must be provided to the Personnel and Honors Committee, no later than the Wednesday preceding the next Personnel and Honors Committee meeting. The P&H Committee meets on the second and fourth Monday of every month.

    2. Letter from the department chair supporting appointment
    3. Letter from the departmental committee recommending appointment
    4. Current CV with current address
    5. Faculty biographical
    6. 5 letters of recommendation from colleagues outside of Tulane

    Promotions

    1. Form B
    2. Letter from the department chair supporting promotion
    3. Letter from the departmental committee recommending promotion
    4. Current CV with current address
    5. Department chair's letter to supporters requesting letters of recommendation
    6. 5 letters of recommendation
    7. Sampling of reprints
  2. For the appointments as instructors and for faculty terminating their appointments, an original of the following should be forwarded to the Dean's Office.

    Instructor appointments

    1. Memo from the department chair recommending appointment
    2. Current CV with current address

    Resignation/Terminations

    1. Memo from the department chair notifying dean of resignation or termination
    2. Faculty member's letter of resignation
