Policy Regarding Tulane Medical Students and Disaster Planning

The following policy applies to students at the medical school when a Disaster Alert (hurricane, flood, etc.) is made by the uptown campus.  Students are not part of any Code Grey Team.

T1 and T2 students: Are dismissed in accordance with University policy. Students are advised to frequent the university emergency information web page* for instructions regarding resumption of classes.

T3 and T4 students: Are to complete their clinical duties until the University calls for evacuation at which point they are dismissed in accordance with the University Disaster Plan. They are advised to monitor the university emergency information web page for instructions regarding resumption of classes.

T4 students on electives: Are dismissed in accordance with University policy.
