Homecoming 2014 will be a special event for the Tulane School of Social Work as all events will be held at our new home -- 127 Elk Place. Once again, the school will offer alumni a free one-hour CEU workshop beginning at 5 p.m. Scott Aiges will conduct the workshop about community interventions in preserving and protecting our culture and cultural economy. Aiges is the Director of Programs, Marketing & Communications for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. The CEU will be held in Room 343 on the third floor of 127 Elk Place.
Our annual free alumni reception will begin at 6 p.m. featuring food, music, drinks and fellowship as well as a raffle benefiting the TSSW Student Scholarship Fund. It will take place on the third and fourth floors of 127 Elk Place, which is where the School now resides. Alumni will have a chance to explore our new space while listening to music and enjoying food and drink.
