Tulane University Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is hosting its Annual Holiday Toy Drive for the local area CASA programs, and this year we are proud to be teaming up with Tulane’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.

This year’s Tulane SAC will hold the toy drive from November 3rd to December 7th.  We will also be selling tickets for a prize drawing.  Tickets are $2.00 each. Prizes are valued up to $2,000 and include:

• "Perception" - Original artwork by artist Stephan Wanger (photo and details about the art)
  
• A pair of Saints versus Carolina Panthers tickets - Sunday, December 30 @ Noon
  
• New Orleans Lagniappe gift basket (click for photo and contents of basket)
  

The SAC has multiple drop off locations for toys and cash donations as well as access to a web link for donations made via credit card (drop off locations, donation link and wish list items are listed below).

Tulane SAC works with three individual locations in the New Orleans area: Orleans, Jefferson & St. Tammany Parish. CASA New Orleans has 130 children, Jefferson has 200 children & St. Tammany has 400 children in foster care ranging in age of 1-18.

Most of these children have been abused and neglected through no fault of their own and see Christmas morning as just another day on the calendar. NO child should EVER see Christmas Morning that way! Every child deserves to wake up and smile on Christmas Morning. As you can see we have hundreds of children that need & deserve our help, please find it in your hearts to help us help the local area CASA.

Wish list

Developmental toys (6 months-18 months), athletic equipment, boys/girls watches, boys wallets, Legos/K-nex, hand held CD players, MP3 players, Twilight memorabilia, teen purses/jewelry, comforter sets, art equipment, gift cards.

There is a high need for gifts that suit teenagers!!!! Some wish list items include: Movie tickets, fast food gift cards, Bath & Body Works, I-tunes & Game Stop.

Please note that tickets for the prize drawing cannot be purchased online; they must be purchased in person from one of the representatives below, at the LBC on the following dates, or at a home basketball game on the following dates:

Drop off locations:

The Staff Advisory Council encourages all staff to participate in helping community causes.

Each fall, the council organizes CASA for the Holidays, an Annual Christmas Toy Drive, to help more than 400 children in foster homes, group homes and hospitals in Orleans, Jefferson and St. Tammany parishes.

Also, the council helps co-sponsor the Back to School Extravaganza each August to raise money and collect school supplies for New Orleans area students.
