Busses & Streetcar
All busses and streetcars cost $1.25 each trip. Exact change is required. Transfers may be purchased for $0.25; these will allow you to switch bus/streetcar lines. The Express busses to downtown will charge you $1.50, If you are going to use the bus and/or streetcars often, you may want to purchase a monthly pass for $55.00/month. You may purchase the pass at Whitney Bank locations.

Taxis
Taxi rides generally cost between $10.50 and $15.00 from the French Quarter to the Uptown Campus. Tips are 15% of the fare. Telephone on of the cab companies, or hail a cab from the curb. THe following are numbers of local cab companies:

Flat rate is $28.00 plus tip from the Uptown Campus to the airport for one or two people. Doort-dorr service.
