Just a couple of short weeks before Centennial, SPHTM was on the road at the 140th annual APHA conference and exposition in San Francisco, California. More than 40 students, staff, and faculty delivered oral or poster presentations, including Rebecca Doerfler and Sarah Donahue, the first BSPH undergrads to deliver oral research presentations. The annual alumni reception saw visitors from as far away as Suriname and Qatar. Seven students displayed posters at the event, and each SPHTM student wore a green or blue ribbon during the conference designating them for their special academic achievement at APHA.The SPHTM booth enjoyed great traffic with attendees clamoring for the school’s branded “media loungers.”
