Career Development Club
The purpose of the Tulane Career Development Club (CD Club) is to bring together junior faculty from across Tulane University who are participating in faculty training programs focused on the health sciences. The CD Club provides these junior faculty members with the opportunity to network with other junior and senior faculty members, and to gain important information on strategic career planning, networking for career advancement, effective grant writing, publication submission, and other relevant topics.
The Tulane CD Club is the result of an interdisciplinary collaboration effort between the principal investigators/lead faculty of several junior faculty training programs. The Tulane BIRCWH Program Principal Investigator/Program Director, Dr. M.A. "Tonette" Krousel-Wood, is one of the founding senior faculty members of the Tulane CD Club, and the Tulane BIRCWH Program is one of the participating junior faculty training programs.
