MSPH Program Admissions Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree with a B+ average is required. Courses in calculus and linear algebra are encouraged.
- A minimum combined GRE score of 1100 with math score equal to or greater than verbal score. Students with lower GRE scores but solid academic performance or prior public health experience and good letters of recommendation may be admitted as Special Students to be evaluated at the end of their first semester for full admission into the program.
- Three favorable letters of recommendation from persons familiar with the applicant's academics or work experience qualifications.
- A career statement indicating the applicant's reasons for choosing the Biostatistics program.
- Official signed and sealed transcript(s) from accredited undergraduate university.

MS in Biostatistics Program Admissions Requirements

MS in Bioinformatics Program Admissions Requirements
Students will be admitted in program from Fall 2010
- A baccalaureate degree with a B+ average is required in any of the following disciplines: mathematics and statistics, health informatics, computer sciences, engineering, or biology with a strong background in computational and data analysis in biological sciences. Courses in calculus and linear algebra are required.
- A minimum combined GRE score of 1100 with math score equal to or greater than verbal score. Students with lower GRE scores but solid academic performance or prior public health experience and good letters of recommendation may be admitted as Special Students to be evaluated at the end of their first semester for full admission into the program.
