Computer Labs

AIS manages two open access general computing labs that are available for use by anyone with a current and valid Tulane ID. These labs provide Internet access, as well as general computing applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, SAS, SPSS, STATA, ARCGIS and Dreamweaver. Intranet services are also available in many of the 12th floor classrooms as well as the first floor student lounge both wirelessly and via Ethernet port.

The 1220 lab is also used as a teaching facility, so please be sure to check the schedule to see when the lab is closed due to classes. We are open 74 hours a week during the school year and 56 during the summer. We are closed on all Tulane holidays and scheduled breaks. If you need access to a lab after hours, the Medical School has a 24 hour lab that is provided in the Medical School on Tulane Ave.

Each of the computers in the labs is equipped with Zip 250 drives as well as CD-Rom drives. Please see our Lab Policy for general guidelines for use of the computers in these labs.
