The Office of Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property Development at Tulane offers a responsive, professional staff and a long history of success based on the discoveries and innovations of our faculty. The office currently manages over 30 active licenses with 25 different companies. We have over 90 issued patents based on the discoveries of our faculty since 1991. Tulane continually ranks among the top 30 institutions in the United States in annual royalty revenue, at present representing approximately 5% of our total sponsored research budget.
The Tulane Career Center offers employers a full range of services to employ Tulane students as interns or full time employees. Our staff will help you advertise your employment opportunities, arrange for on campus interviews, register your organization to participate in any of our career fairs, and provide you access to view résumés of Tulane students online.

Senior Research Officer
The Vice President for Research is a university-wide post responsible for overseeing all aspects of research at Tulane University. Priorities for the office include fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, building research relationships with corporate and government entities, aiding in the recruitment and retention of leading investigators, and building the research portfolio in a manner compliant with federal regulation.
Technology Transfer Officer
The Office of Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property Development can assist with licensing of Tulane’s intellectual property; development of confidentiality agreements, material transfer agreements, and cooperative research and development agreements; patent, trademark and copyright processes on behalf of Tulane.
Career Services Officer
Amjad Ayoubi oversees the Tulane Career Center and The Academic Advising Center at Tulane. Dr. Ayoubi can assist you with free job and internship postings, campus interviews, career fairs, and access to Tulane students for jobs and internships.
