About OAIR

The Office of Institutional Assessment was founded in 2009 to coordinate assessment and accreditation efforts on campus, and the duties have been executed by a 1-2 person staff.

Institutional Research functions at Tulane have been conducted in both a decentralized as well as a centralized model. When centralized, the Office of Institutional Research has been placed within Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, and External Relations. Institutional Research functions have been centralized since 2005 and the duties have been executed by a 2-3 person staff.

Office of Assessment and Institutional Research

The Office of Assessment and Institutional Research (OAIR) was established July 1, 2013, by the merger of the existing Offices of Institutional Research and Institutional Assessment and was fully staffed by October 2013.
