Can't Login to CMS?

Check these items:

1.

Are you using a recommended browser? The CMS can be edited in the following browsers: Internet Explorer 8 and 9 and 10 (Windows) Firefox 10 ESR and Firefox 17 ESR version (Windows, Linux, Mac) Chrome 24 and 25 (Windows, Linux, Mac) Safari 5 (Mac).

2.

Check that you typed the URL correctly. It should look like:

https://authoring.tulane.edu/[YOURSITE]/login.cfm

3.

Re-enter your user ID in all lowercase.

4.

Your internet browser's cache stores certain information (snapshots) of webpages you visit on your computer or mobile device so that they'll load more quickly upon future visits. Occasionally, however, your cache can prevent you from seeing updated content, or cause functional problems when stored content conflicts with live content.  Try refreshing your browser cache. Here are instructions.

5.

Make sure that your password is your latest Tulane one. Does it meet the standards:

  • 6 characters
  • at least one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter
  • at least one numeric character
  • no special characters

If you cannot login to e-mail or myTulane, then it is definitely a password issue.

If you forgot your password and want to reset it, visit https://password.tulane.edu
