More: Incoming medical students don their doctor’s white coats for the first time at the ceremony, a tradition-filled first step on their path to become physicians. The students are joined by families and friends.
There were 10,210 applicants for this year’s entering class, up from 10,038 last year. The keynote speaker is Dr. James R. Doty, nationally renowned neurosurgeon, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Dr. Hyman Tolmas (Class of ‘45) will deliver the Distinguished Alumnus address.
