Tulane University medical students and volunteers will have their heads shaved to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

Who: More than 100 Tulane University medical students and volunteers will have their heads shaved as children fighting cancer cheer them on. Guests will enjoy a day of music, food and fun while stylists and barbers shave volunteers’ heads.
What: Media event and fund-raiser for both the St. Baldrick's Foundation, a national group devoted to helping kids with cancer, and Tulane Hospital for Children.
When: Noon, Friday, Feb. 18
Where: The atrium lobby of Tulane Medical Center, 1415 Tulane Ave.

In the past three years, Tulane students have raised more than $180,000 for the organization through head-shaving events.
