All three candidates for Juvenile Court Judge, Section E, in Orleans Parish will be at Tulane University Wednesday, Jan. 20, to discuss issues facing the criminal justice system in New Orleans and to make their case for the Feb. 6 primary election. The Tulane School of Social Work will host the “Juvenile Judges Forum” from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Jones Hall, Rm. 102 on the uptown campus. The event is free and open to the public.
“On Feb. 6 we are electing a new mayor and a new juvenile judge for our city,” says event organizer and Master of Social Work student Christopher Gross. “Juvenile judges play a significant role in the lives of Orleans Parish children, families and the justice system. Come listen to the three candidates running for this judgeship, so you can make an informed decision about the juvenile justice system’s future.”
The candidates for Juvenile Court Judge, Section E, are Richard Exnicios, Tracey Flemings-Davillier and Marie Williams.
