WHAT: Tulane University has exciting news about a major donation that will allow the university’s School of Medicine to expand its community health initiatives in New Orleans neighborhoods severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
WHO: Officials from Tulane University School of Medicine, the Louisiana Recovery Authority, the city of New Orleans and leaders from a major corporate sponsor with ties to the New Orleans community will make a joint announcement.

MORE: Shortly after Hurricane Katrina, Tulane University established community health programs to deliver high quality primary care to vulnerable populations affected by the storm. These neighborhood-based, patient-centered medical homes serve and heal neighborhoods as they work to recover and grow into stronger, healthier communities.
