The second annual "Beautify Broadway" on Sunday, April 3 from 1-4 p.m. on the Zimple Quad on Broadway is a collaborative community service effort of New Orleans Hillel, Tulane University, the Tulane Greek Community, the Residence Hall Association and the Tulane Neighborhood Association.

The goals of "Beautify Broadway" are to clean up Broadway Street and the streets and neighborhoods surrounding Tulane University, as well as to beautify the Tulane uptown campus by planting flowers beds, replanting and remulching trees and picking up trash. Last year over 400 students attended this event. This year the surrounding neighborhood is invited to participate in this community cleanup.

Registration for "Beautify Broadway" will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 3 on the Zimple Quad on Broadway Street between Freret and Willow Street. After the cleanup, beginning at 3 p.m., there will be a community barbecue open to all participants.
