2005 Tulane Paint Rally for Orleans Public Schools

Over 500 volunteers are expected to turn out on Saturday, Feb. 19 for the first day of the 2005 Tulane Paint Rally for New Orleans Public Schools. Volunteers from Tulane, Dillard and Xavier universities as well as community organizations and local businesses will report to the following schools from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

Joseph S. Clark Senior High, 2600 S. Rocheblave St.
Booker T. Washington High, 1201 S. Roman St.
John McDonogh Senior High, 2426 Esplanade Ave.
John F. Kennedy Senior High, 5700 Wisner Blvd.  

A media event is scheduled for 1 p.m. in the Booker T. Washington High School cafeteria at 1201 S. Roman Street. William Giles, principal, and representatives of superintendent Tony Amato and the Orleans Parish School Board will address volunteers.
