More: Incoming medical students will don their doctor’s white coats for the first time at the ceremony, which is the traditional kick-off for their training to become physicians. The students are joined by excited families and friends. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Norman McSwain, Professor of Surgery at Tulane and a nationally-renowned trauma surgeon.
