More than 100 Tulane University medical students and volunteers will have their heads shaved as children fighting cancer cheer them on. Guests will enjoy a day of music, food and fun while stylists and barbers shave volunteers’ heads.

In the past two years, Tulane students have raised more than $120,000 for the organization through head-shaving events.

The head-shaving festivities will also feature a silent auction, bake sale and event shirt sales to raise money to build a “Boundless Playground” within Tulane Medical Center so that all children seeking treatment at the hospital, including those with disabilities, will have a safe and fun place to play.
