Kathy Bourgeois sorts through a box of toys collected during the annual Holiday Toy Drive led by the Tulane University Staff Advisory Council. The month-long event, which concluded Dec. 7, has put smiles on the faces of local foster children since 2008. The drive is undertaken in partnership with local area Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children. This year, more than 600 toys and $7,000 in cash and gift cards were distributed to CASA programs in Jefferson, Orleans and St. Tammany parishes.
