Sophomore Thomas Ferrer balances himself upon a line stretched between two trees on the Gibson Quad. Ferrer, along with junior Ryan Zamarripa, left, and first-year student Conor Sandin, say they tread the slackline -- a form of tightrope -- in-between classes on about two or three days each week. When asked about the trick to slacklining, each said, "practice."
