First-year Tulane University students in the Going Green seminar check out the fresh produce and other food items available at the weekly Crescent City Farmers Market held at University Square every Tuesday morning. Along with learning about the community benefits of locally sourced food, students in the seminar gain insight into renewable energy, environmentally conscious construction and other aspects of going green.
