Take Back the Night

Members of the Tulane community, as well as those of Dillard and Loyola universities, cross the corner of Freret Street at Broadway Tuesday night (Oct. 23) during the annual Take Back the Night event, which is staged to raise awareness about sexual assault and gender-based violence. The march began on the Loyola campus and concluded at the Lavin-Bernick Center on the Tulane uptown campus, and was followed by an open mic for testimonials and an interfaith service.
