Visiting Colombian artist Erika Diettes discusses her work with patrons of the Latin American Library during its ninth annual open house on the fourth floor of Howard-Tilton Memorial Library on the Tulane University uptown campus. On view was a collection of Diettes' photographs, which document the struggles of the families of victims of the Colombian armed conflict. Several of the photographs are part of the library's permanent collection.

A black and white photograph by Diettes, titled "Sudario," which means shroud, is on display during the open house.
