Insider: Where is your hometown?

Kendall: We are from Palm Beach, Fla. I am a junior and Libby is a freshman.

Insider: How did you come up with the name for your business?

Kendall: Stoney Clover Lane  was the name of the street where we grew up in Rochester, N.Y. We thought it was a cute name, and it worked.

Insider: Where did you learn to run a business?

Kendall: This started out as a hobby and turned into a business. I have basically just learned from experience and seeing what works and what doesn’t.

Insider: Are there plans to expand the jewelry line?

Kendall: There are no plans to expand with more jewelry, but we have added some clothing. We sell a few tank tops and sweatshirts.

Insider: It’s amazing that celebrities have been spotted wearing your bracelets! Which celebrity caused you to react by saying “OMG?”

Kendall: The first two people to wear our bracelets were Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, so when we saw that we freaked out.

Insider: When did you become interested in philanthropy?

Kendall: Since my mom went to Tulane, I knew about New Orleans and I wanted to help after Hurricane Katrina. I organized a huge lemonade stand and held it outside our grocery store to raise money for the Red Cross. Giving back and being able to help out as many people as possible is something important to myself and Libby.
