Tulane University alumna Amy Goldenberg Fox of Atlanta is ready to celebrate. As Fox’s 20th reunion quickly approaches, she is thrilled to be traveling back to New Orleans to celebrate with friends and share memories of their time at Tulane at Reunion Weekend during Homecoming, Oct. 4-5.

“The Tulane staff has done an outstanding job of getting classmates engaged and involved in planning some really fun events that will make it a can’t-miss weekend,” says Fox, a member of the 20th Reunion Committee. “With the new push for a bigger, better reunion, alumni are reaching out to friends, swapping old stories and signing up to come back to campus. I can’t wait to see everyone!”
Jered Bocage, alumni relations director of reunions, says there is still time for alumni who graduated in years ending with a 3 or an 8 to register
for the weekend’s festivities. He says this weekend is all about capturing the fun and excitement graduates experienced during their time on campus and in New Orleans.
“I can already imagine cabanas lined up on McAlister Place filled with 11 generations of Tulane graduates in reunion beads reliving the best years of their lives,” Bocage says.
Friday’s welcome receptions will feature the Stooges Brass Band followed by blues legend Deacon John at the Wave ’13 All-Alumni Party
Reunion alumni also receive a discounted cover charge at Tipitina’s for a special after-party during the Soul Rebels concert beginning at 10 p.m.
On Saturday, graduates will hit the town and enjoy the city that made their college experience so unique. After the Green Wave football game against North Texas, alumni will have the chance to attend a private party in their honor with classmates. Celebrations will take place at venues such as the National World War II Museum, Le Bon Temps Roulé and the Speakeasy Bourbon Balcony.
