A pool of water and a couple of tennis balls are all these pooches need to dispel the midday heat during the dog days of summer in New Orleans. The dogs are playing in the Sara Hyams Fountain, which was built in 1921 along the Mississippi River side of Magazine Street near Audubon Zoo. Interestingly, a duplicate of the fountain can be found across town in City Park.
