Table reading

Tulane University alumna Cecile Monteyne, right, goes over her part during a table reading of the script of Love, Loss and What I Wore as Janet Shea and fellow Tulane alumnae Cassie Worley and Nell Nolan follow along. The group convened in the Theater Lab of McWilliams Hall in preparation for this weekend's performance at Le Petit Theatre. Worley is executive director of Le Petit, while Monteyne, Shea and Nolan are among a rotating cast of characters in the play. Click here for more information.

Carl Walker

Tulane faculty member Carl Walker is directing Love, Loss and What I Wore, a collection of stories adapted into a play by Nora and Delia Ephron. Other members of the Tulane community involved in the production are faculty members Martin Sachs, who is designing the lighting, and Clare Moncrief, who is a cast member. Also in the cast is alumna Leslie Castay. Alumna Shelia Bosworth, who is a novelist, is the production's dramaturg and has worked with director Walker in adapting the script to a New Orleans setting.
