A bird takes flight from an artful spot.

A bird lifts off from atop the New Orleans Museum of Art in City Park. Built in 1911 with funding from businessman Isaac Delgado, NOMA is the oldest fine arts institution in the city, and houses close to 40,000 objects in its permanent collection.
