Anthropology professors Judith Maxwell and Olanike Ola Orie walk by the Tulane School of Social Work building on Thursday (May 9) afternoon. The entrance to the building is decorated with Tibetan prayer flags in anticipation of the Dalai Lama's visit to New Orleans next week. The visit is a direct result of relationships the School of Social Work has formed during 12 years of working with the Tibetan exile community in Dharamsala, India. The Dalai Lama will give the keynote address at the Tulane Unified Commencement Ceremony on May 18.
