Journalist and author Nicholas Kristof, who along with his wife, Sheryl WuDunn, wrote the acclaimed book Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide, lectured at Tulane on Monday (April 30) about his travels and experiences.
Kristof is a two-time Pulitzer Prize-wining columnist for the New York Times whose book offers a compassionate view on global health, poverty and gender in the developing world. His Direction lecture was sponsored by the Lyceum Committee of Tulane Unviersity Campus Programming.
