Twin paradox

Bringing the rarefied concepts of special relatively down to earth, physics professor of practice Guy Norton presents to his students a thought experiment known as the "twin paradox." In it, one twin is traveling to a distant star at nearly the speed of light while the other twin remains on the planet. According to the theory of special relatively, the twin in the rocket ship returns to earth younger than the one who remained behind. Norton made the presentation in his Introductory Physics II class on the Tulane University uptown campus.
