With the opening of envelopes across the country, the futures of graduating medical school students are decided on the third Friday of March each year — Match Day. Members of Tulane University School of Medicine class of 2014 were abuzz when they found out where they would spend the next years of their lives on Friday (March 21). Above and beyond his match in family medicine at St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, Colo., Kenneth Ott, second from right, also took home some cash when he won the pot in a Tulane Match Day tradition where each student puts $5 into the pot and a name is drawn to determine the winner.
